GET Dance Brazil explores all that Brazil has to offer! The company strives to offer a glimpse into the training and work needed to be a dancer in the famous sambódromo, dancing samba no pe during o Carnaval do Rio. Swingueira is another dance featured in class, which mixes samba with hip hop and twerking. Finally, from the Brazilian Amazon region is the Toada, a music style that combines traditional indigenous and African rhythms together. These three dances will be the focus of this year’s Brazil classes.
