GET Dance Colombia focuses on the various traditional dances from Colombia. From the Caribbean and Pacific coasts to the Andes mountains, Colombia has so much to offer in terms of dance! 

For 2025/2026, the company will focus on Champeta from the Caribbean Coast. This genre came all the way from Africa to Colombia, and has become internationally known thanks to being performed in important stages watched worldwide, showing the connections that Colombia has with our African ancestors. 

This energetic dance started as an urban dance in the popular neighborhoods of the region, becoming little by little a dance performed by Barranquilla Carnaval queens and mainstream singers.
